SNCR-OPERATIONAL TRIALS & FEASIBILITY STUDY
It is advisable to carry out tests with a test facility in order to obtain further planning security. With the tests, additional information is obtained with reasonable expenditure of time and money on whether the required NOx and NH3 limit values can be safely met, even with changing boiler loads, and what technical effort may be required.

WHY USING A MOBILE SNCR?
- SNCR operational tests & feasibility studies with urea solution (40/45 % by weight) or ammonia water (25 % by weight) as reducing agent
- Suitable for automated multi-level operation for injection with different boiler loads
- Individually switchable injection lances
- Integration of NOx setpoints possible
- Commissioning of the plant
- Support or implementation and evaluation of the operational tests
- Provision of injection lances, flexible hose connections, pump modules, etc.
- Provision of reducing agents
- Control cabinet with S7 control
- Remote maintenance unit
- Deionized / process water water pressure increase pump
EXPERIMENTAL SETUP & PERFORMANCE
The test setup consists of a urea tank (here: tank truck with 25 m³ volume), a feed pump module for urea solution / ammonia water, a test module for dosing and regulating the quantities, connecting rubber hoses, connection flanges on the boiler and injection lances.
Urea solution / ammonia water is pumped from the tank truck to the test module by means of the feed pumps via a rubber hose. In the test module, the required amounts of urea solution / ammonia water, water and compressed air are set and conveyed to the injection lances via hoses. The nozzles in the lances are used to inject into the boiler.

TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS
The temperatures are measured at various points in the boiler with the aid of a suction pyrometer. Furthermore, the various settings and local conditions are recorded. Possibly. experiments with the existing injection lances and other nozzles can also be carried out at the positions determined in this way.
A stable operation of the boiler is necessary during the measurements. The load conditions and the system operating modes should reflect commercial operation in order to obtain reliable results with the temperature measurements (on the existing system).
Scope of delivery and services for temperature measurements
- Provision of a suction pyrometer with the necessary hoses for compressed air and cooling water
- Carrying out the temperature measurements (on the existing system) with possibly different nozzles
- Recording of further data
- Documentation of the temperature measurements
